HIPster stands for Hugely Important People. AKA: our students. My Possibilities provides continuing education and job placement opportunities for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), to help them achieve the bright future they deserve. Now, with additional online learning opportunities, HIPsters have even more potential to live, learn, and grow.

At My Possibilities, our priority is to make higher education accessible for as many HIPsters as possible, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
Virtual programs offered through MPower Online Learning allow even more students the opportunity to receive higher education with My Possibilities. Now, location is no longer a barrier for potential HIPsters because we’re bringing the learning environment to you.

I just wanted to take the time today to thank you for making MP online a really great program for Ali over this past year and a half. She looked forward to each and every day with her friends, and I was quite surprised at how well the online learning sessions went. As I was fortunate to be at home over this same time frame, I can attest to your incredible skill set to be able to teach and navigate these social conversations remotely! As I would pass through the kitchen, I would hear the various young adults’ comments, questions, and topics discussed and you were incredible at teaching and redirecting and showing them their thoughts were valued. You are a wonderful teacher, and I appreciate your efforts so much.
Elisabeth has enjoyed getting this ‘taste’ of MP. She’s enjoyed being able to make friends in her homeroom class.
Adam has thoroughly enjoyed his MP Online classes, especially since they became live, socially interactive Zoom classes…he did really enjoy MP Passport, Animal Lovers, the Virtual Field trips, Music History, Cooking and those Friday trips by you and Kellie, especially the Halloween decorations, N.TX Giving Day events, and of course touring the halls at MP. The in-person Zoom classes have been the best as he could be in many of his favorite classes (science, art, cooking) and with very good teachers including new ones like Ms. Debbie. We are pleased that he has become more responsive and social by at least writing in the chat if he doesn’t choose to speak out. He has certainly added more computer skills by learning to navigate the Zoom site. Thank you so much to MP for offering the online classes and for your coordination. They have been a real lifesaver both from Covid and in other healthful ways.
